I noticed in the Sunday Observer of Sri Lanka today that there is a massive amount of adverts looking for a bride/groom under the classifieds “Proposals”.

I say what?! I thought these kinds of marriage set ups was a rural thing. Or something else, whatever else, but really not for educated people. And I say educated since most ads were referring to that the ”item”/person was well educated. Doctors, accountants etc etc.

It sure makes one wonder if we still haven’t moved further than this, no wonder we are having problems all over the world. In every other aspect (as well). Scary.

So there you have it folks, is this a way to design your life?

Nah. Don’t think so.
