When I was a teenager I used to love those lamps made of mother of pearl. Then they went out of fashion and I didn’t see one for years and years. And then some years ago, I stumbled across a new version of the old one. Looking like this. Sort of the same but as I recall it it didn’t have those aluminum circles that it has now. I guess that is what they call improvement. I don’t know about that but however, whatever

I still like the old style better. I think the base was made out of wood back then.

Now, I’ve found a new version of the lamp. A new and updated version.
