Yellow is here.

I think I have always had a thing for yellow. In my first apartment I had a yellow bedspread If I recall correctly. In another apartment I painted yellow walls (happy 90s). In the apartment that followed I had one wall painted deep burgundy. Just to show you that I Do Not Always Go For Yellow. Sometimes I go for pink. And black. And…oh well.

However, I am back where I started I think. I am back to adoring yellow. It is something about that color that makes me …well, happy actually.

In my inbox today I got an email from The Rug Company (to whom I have written introducing my all time favorite rug “The Macaroon Carpet” – but they just don’t seem to get it. Well, their loss.) with fabolous rugs, wall hangings and throw pillows in…yeeellow of course. I simply love the picture below. Love all of it. Not only the yellow rug. But it is darn beautiful.

So I would hereby like to share my frenzy for yellow with y’all.

Have a yellow day!

Oh, before you continue to another website; just got to show you this Baggu Pouch M as well (8.5″ wide by 8.5″ tall). It’s like a juicy lemon. Love it!

Morgan Parish pouch.

I love the idea of the suede front paired with textile back and the horse-hair-tassle that makes this pouch extra perfect.

And as much as I love bright colors, I adore this one too

it just has that super-extra flair, don’t you agree?

And if these colors doesn’t do it for you, check out all the other colors here

Lovely bracelets.

This is a nice shape. It is slightly off, or odd if you will, but just enough to be really attractive. I also like the idea of three different colors at the same time. It will naturally also look really good on its own. Just one finely shaped bracelet.

The bracelets are made in Brooklyn by Fay Andrada. Material: the black one is made of oxidized copper, the goldish one out of brass and the white one is made of silver.

Trench Coat Banana Republic Style.

I can’t wait for warmer winds to whisk through the streets. And I can´t wait to put on lighter clothes. Like this Banana Republic trench coat. I have it in black, since I tend to lean towards black clothes, but I wouldn’t mind having this one too (I could always match it with a black dress or pants or something else black and I will feel secure and safe – being sarcastically humoristic towards myself here). How about you? (not the sarcasm, wouldn’t you want a trench too?)

Want it (I bet you do!). You can find it at Banana Republic. Either in a store near you or here
